Size Reduction| Jet Milling

Jet milling is a process that uses high pressure air to micronize friable, heat-sensitive materials into ultra-fine powders. Powder sizes will vary depending on the material and application, but typically ranges from 75 to as fine as 1 micron. Often materials are jet milled when there are needed finer than 45 microns.
